The Oyo State Government has deployed two hundred operatives of the Oyo State Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Amotekun in Ibarapa Local Government Area of the state.
Of late, there was disaster among Ibarapa indigenes and Fulani herdsmen accused of perpetrating crimes starting from kidnappings, killings, rape to invasion of farmlands with their farm animals withinside the area.
In an assertion on Wednesday, Governor Seyi Makinde stated the deployment of Amotekun Corps accompanied an assembly with safety businesses and stakeholders withinside the disaster-torn area.
